Here’s what’s new at Eden Lifestyle Sanctuary.
We are currently using the farmhouse in Oxford for medical missionary work while the sanitarium is under construction. This summer, we did a three-day health retreat that was attended by six ladies from New York City. They gave great reviews. We purchased a large greenhouse that still needs to be assembled. This year’s only crop was garlic, and we harvested a good supply of organic garlic.
Last winter, we held our first annual appreciation banquet. About 60 supporters attended. We served a vegan lasagna meal and shared a slideshow showing the progress of the sanitarium project.
Construction Progress
The Lord provided the funds to get the roof on just before winter at the end of 2024. In 2025, the windows and doors arrived. Volunteers installed all the windows, and the doors will be installed soon. The interior walls are framed, and the rooms are laid out. Electrical work has begun on the first floor. The stairs from the basement to the second floor are complete.
The Lord provided us with insulation, and half of it has been installed. We are still working on insulating the second floor. We have a kerosene heater, and a fuel tank was donated. We heat the building three days a week so volunteers can work indoors during the winter. More volunteers are still needed. We really need more volunteers.
Current Needs
Funds are needed to hire a plumber, purchase and install plumbing fixtures, finish the electrical work, install a solar power system, and set up a heating system. We also need to hire a skilled worker to manage the project and keep construction moving forward. Our goal is to raise $250,000 in 2026 to complete all these needs. If the Lord is working on your heart today, please don’t hesitate to give now.
